A new toy
About 3 years ago I started saving. I was able to get my company to recycle. I took everything to the local free recycling, but the cans I took for money. I’ve been saving birthday money, Christmas money, etc….and today I scraped up all my moolah to buy this.
I am so excited!!!

Looking at your photos of your adorable kids has really inspired me to become a better photographer. In fact, for year or so, I’ve been dreaming of a digital SLR. This summer I’ve been playing with my dad’s Canon rebel, hoping to be able to get my own in the next few months. Well, when I got back in town last night, JD suprised me with my own Canon Rebel xti with telephoto zoom and speedlite flash! I am so excited to learn to use it. I think it will be a great camera for a beginner like me!

OOOOOoooo camera accessories! I’m jealous. I’m also fairly certain that I’d have no idea how to use that and I’d end up using it as a flashlight
