i believe in Carl Jung’s theory on the collective unconscious. We are all connected by unconscious thought. Our ‘Collective Unconscious’ explains why we all show up at the grocery store at 10:00 pm to pick up a jug of milk and some cashews. If you’ve ever worked in retail you see it; the unexplained phenomena of mass movement. Everyone walks in at the same time thinking they need a book, a hogie, a hookup, whatever. Blame it on the radio. Blame it on t.v. Blame it on your aunt’s incessant need to talk to everyone. But either way you slice it, there isn’t a way to explain that at 3:40 this afternoon everyone, just like you, is thinking about having sex in the kitchen. And tonight when you are in that very kitchen with your lover pinned on the floor with twinkies shoved up their whoo-ha, clucking like a chicken…remember that your neighbor is doing the same.
